CATS PhD student James Garofalo has been selected to receive the American Society of Composites’ (ASC) PhD Scholarship for the academic year 2017-18. The award has two parts. The first part is a grant of $1,000 to James to support his research. The second part is reimbursement of travel expenses up to $1,250 including conference registration to help him attend the annual ASC 32nd Technical Conference at Purdue University and accept the award at the conference banquet.
